Dear NEHI '62 Classmates,

Several of you have expressed an interest in having a NEHI Class of ’62  65^th reunion.  And the reunion committee members are also looking forward to doing it “one more time.” 

Our initial thought was to have a single event, a mid-day luncheon at a venue to be determined.  Keep it simple.  Just a nice time to visit with each other rather than gathering to be entertained.

But our out-of-town classmates have let us know that they would like more time to visit and want to make their trip to St. Petersburg worthwhile.

Based on the local weather and the travel schedules of committee members, we have decided that April 2027 will be a good time for the reunion.  Our 60^th was held in April and it worked well.

Some have said they liked the previous format with a Friday social, Saturday free to explore our own interests with dinner that evening, and Sunday Brunch.  Some have even asked if we would have any “extras” like tours.  It all depends on how many of you will be attending.

This all takes a lot of planning on the part of the committee, so before we go any further, we want to know WHAT YOU WANT and WHAT YOU WOULD ATTEND.

Thanks to the generosity of classmates, we have been able to use venues that have had no fees which in turn has kept our reunion cost very reasonable.  We have also received generous donations to supplement the actual cost of the reunions.  Recognizing that for many of our classmates there will be travel and hotel expenses, our goal is to keep the reunion itself very affordable for all our classmates.

Our main desire is to have a reunion that works for YOU!  Something that will be fun, give lots of opportunities to visit with each other, and be accessible for all our classmates.
